🩺 Get Ready for the 2025/26 Flu Vaccine Season Protect yourself.

Protect yourself. Protect others. Get vaccinated.

We’re pleased to announce that our free flu vaccination clinics at St Stephen's House Surgery will begin from Wednesday, 1 October 2025 for eligible adults. Getting your flu jab is one of the most effective ways to stay healthy during the colder months — especially for those most at risk.

✅ Who is Eligible for a Free Flu Vaccine?

The flu vaccine is available free of charge to those at higher risk of serious illness, including:

  • Adults aged 65 and over

  • Pregnant women

  • Children aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2025

  • People with certain long-term health conditions (e.g. asthma, diabetes, heart disease)

  • Carers and frontline health and social care workers

🧒 Children’s Flu Vaccinations

Flu vaccines for children aged 2–3 years will be available from 1 September 2025.

We encourage parents to arrange flu vaccinations for their children as early as possible, as this helps provide maximum protection ahead of the winter flu season. Vaccinating children not only protects them from illness and complications but also helps reduce the risk of passing flu to others — especially vulnerable individuals such as elderly relatives or those with long-term health issues.

As soon as our clinics are confirmed, we will send invites and booking links to eligible families by text message or email.
Please keep an eye out for your invite and book promptly once received.

📅 Booking Your Appointment (Adults)

We will begin sending out self-booking links for adult flu clinics towards the end of August. These links allow you to choose a convenient appointment time.

📅 If you haven’t received a booking link by 30 September 2025, and believe you're eligible, please:

💉 Flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations

This year, flu and COVID-19 vaccinations will be administered separately.

If you're eligible for the Autumn 2025 COVID-19 booster, you’ll receive information via text, the NHS App, or from your local vaccination centre.
